Exosomes are used at the Secret Garden Winchester in combination with other treatments to promote skin healing and stimulate collagen production and cell renewal. Exosomes are excellent at treating fine lines and wrinkles, scars, sagging skin, sun damage and uneven texture and tone.

What are Exosomes?

Exosomes are natural nano-sized inter-cellular messengers which  are produced by almost every cell in the body.  They have a lot of different and exciting applications, many of which we are only just touching the surface of.

For skin rejuvenation, their potential lies in their ability to repair tissue and regenerate damaged cells.

Exosomes are used at the secret garden Winchester in combination with other treatments to promote skin healing and stimulate collagen production and cell renewal. This enables them to address everything from fine lines and wrinkles to scars, sagging skin, sun damage and uneven texture and tone.

What are Exosomes used to treat?

Exosomes are used to tackle a range of skin issues, including:

  • Improving fine lines and wrinkles

  • Enhancing skin tightness and texture

  • Reducing hyperpigmentation

  • Facilitating wound and scar healing

  • Amplifying skin hydration and radiance

  • Reducing inflammation in dermatitis/eczema or rosacea

  • Promoting hair growth

  • Strengthening hair

  • Moisturising both hair and scalp

Am I suitable from Exosomes?

This treatment  is appropriate for individuals wanting to promote the longevity of their skin or improve the health and condition.  It is effective for addressing age-related concerns, scars, and even eczema. However, it is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Do Exosomes hurt?

This treatment is combined with microneedling to ensure deep absorption across the skins area.  There is no discomfort from their topical application. In hair growth treatments, the exosomes are carefully applied to the scalp.

Some people may experience temporary redness, swelling, or mild discomfort at the application site. Usually, these symptoms are short-lived and resolve on their own.  We conduct a comprehensive pre-treatment assessment to make sure you know what any risks are and to minimise the risk.

It is crucial to avoid touching the treated area for at least 12 hours.

How long do the effects of Exosomes last?

Patients typically notice some improvement in their skin within two weeks, with full results visible approximately six to eight weeks afterward, especially with additional sessions.

Hair treated with exosomes will display increased brightness and fullness, and regrowth will initiate, with new hair exhibiting enhanced strength.

Additionally, your scalp will undergo reduced irritation and dryness. Noticeable changes are anticipated between six months to a year following the treatment.

For lasting results, we suggest receiving a follow-up exosome treatment every four to six months.
